Chasing the Sun: Miami

I don't know about you, but I could not last another minute in this unheard of New York chill! I booked a weekend trip to South Beach, Florida for the Food Network Food & Wine Festival. The mini vaca was filled with amazing food, endless fun, and even sun burns.Luckily it's starting to warm up in the north east today, enjoy it!

Rachel Zoe SS '13 NYFW

Rachel Zoe and Prabal Gurung
My favorite look of the collection
Gorgeous sequins
Floppy hat and draped gown
Finale
Lincoln Center: The mecca of New York Fashion Week
Bag: Vintage Prada

First and foremost, please excuse the horrendous quality of these photos. I decided not to bring my enormous camera to the show this time. Thank goodness for the iPhone!

The Rachel Zoe spring/summer collection was Jane Birkin on the Amalfi Coast, effortless beachy glam. I loved her use of sequins (obviously) in both everyday wear and evening pieces. The color palate was beautiful and subtle. My favorite look was the floor length navy sequin gown, such a show stopper. Now that New York Fashion Week has come to an end, I am very excited to see the upcoming shows from my favorite British, French and Italian designers. Aka Stella, Balmain, and Versace.

Come Fly Away

Very casual day at the Katama Airfield
Bag: Be & D old
Shorts: Free People
Watch: Michael Kors
"love" Ring: Etsy
Shoes: Tkees

One of the most memorable visits during my Martha's Vineyard trip was the Katama Airfield and Bi-Plane Exhibit. Though I didn't dare take a ride up in the air, I did enjoy brunch and mimosas at The Right Fork Diner located on the airfield. The menu is delicious and the views of the sunset are amazing.

In Martha's Vineyard, eating outside on the water is a must. One of my favorite places to dine on the island is The Atlantic Fish and Chop House in Edgartown. The menu is exquisite and the view of the harbor is idyllic.
